About the Winery

DesJarlais Farms & Winery is a farm-based winery in Sturgis, South Dakota, offering wines alongside other farm products, a campground, and seasonal tasting room experiences. The family has owned the 20-acre property since 1938. They planted a new vineyard in 2012 with over 400 grape vines and ten different cold-climate varietals. The property also features a small orchard, rhubarb, berries, and honeybees. Open to the public from June to September, with tastings and tours by appointment only.
