About the Winery
Desert Rose Ranch and Winery is a western-themed boutique winery in Hume, Virginia, opened in 2011 by Bob and Linda Claymier on an 80-acre farm that is also a horse ranch. The motto is "we take our wine and winemaking very seriously but not ourselves." The quaint tasting room features the Horseshoe Bar decorated with foreign currency and tokens from the owners travels abroad. Tasting options: $6 for 4 wines, $10 for 8 wines, $12 reserved sit-down tasting. Juice flights available for kids ($5).
