About the Winery
Dakota Sun Winery was founded by Bruce and Merleen Gussiaas as Dakota Sun Gardens Winery in Carrington, ND. In 2024, Devin Quick took over as new owner, relocating the winery to Williston, ND. The winery takes farm-fresh fruits from their family farm Quick Acres near Valley City and turns them into wine. They are currently in transition without a physical tasting room in Williston, but wines are available at craft and vendor shows across North Dakota and via shipping. Over 10 years of experience in North Dakota winemaking and fruit growing.
