About the Winery

Winemaker and founder John Giannini named Cresta Velia for his mother and grandmother. The inaugural vintage was 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Sauvignon hails from Eagle Summit, a hillside vineyard on Howell Mountain. Produces less than 300 cases annually.
