About the Winery
Founded in 1974 by Tom Clark and Laurie Claudon after their Peace Corps assignment in Colombia, Clark-Claudon Vineyards is a family-owned winery on the northeast side of Howell Mountain. Their 117-acre property includes 17 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon planted with clone 7, plus a small block of Petit Verdot. The vineyard is farmed sustainably with a focus on preserving natural vegetation and wildlife habitat. Their son Josh runs Clark Vineyard Management. They also produce Wild Iris Sauvignon Blanc.
