About the Winery
Chateau OBrien at Northpoint is a family-owned and operated winery nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Virginia. Founded in 2005 by Howard OBrien, the winery produces hand-crafted wines including Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Albarino, Chardonnay, and Petit Manseng. Known as the Irish winery of Virginia, their Tannat Reserve won Best Red and Best of Show in 2017.
