About the Winery
Chanela Farms is home to Terra 5047 (formerly Chanela Vineyards), Utah's highest-elevation winery at 5,047 feet above sea level on the shoulder of Pine Valley Mountain near St. George. Owned by Gary and Cindy Ellis, the vineyard was first planted in 2006. The winery crafts luxury wines from estate-grown grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Super Tuscan-style Sangiovese blend, Zinfandel blend, Chardonnay, and Rose.
