About the Winery

Champlain Orchards is one of the oldest continually operating orchards in Vermont, founded in 1998 by Bill Suhr. Located overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, the orchard grows over 175 varieties of eco-certified apples, peaches, pears, plums, cherries, nectarines, and berries. They produce award-winning hard ciders. The farm is almost entirely solar powered.
