About the Winery
Capitello Wines is an Oregon family winery with New Zealand roots. Winemaker and owner Ray Walsh makes artisan wines from both hemispheres - reds, whites, and sparkling. He was the first Oregon winemaker to import egg-shaped concrete fermentation vessels. Their tasting room is in the historic former Lord Leebrick Theater in downtown Eugene. Ray travels 14,000 miles each year to make wine in both Oregon and Marlborough, New Zealand.

Tasting room open Tuesday-Thursday noon-8pm, Friday-Saturday noon-9pm, Sunday noon-5pm. 'Happy hours' Tuesday-Friday 4-6pm. Pizzeria DOP food cart on select nights. New Zealand vs Oregon flight is a must-try experience.
