Caldwell Vineyard is a 123-acre estate in Coombsville, Napa Valley. Founded by John Caldwell, the original maverick who introduced the most prized Bordeaux rootstock and grapevine clones to California. The estate features a 20,000-square-foot cave for tastings. Caldwell produces 23 different clone- and varietal-specific wines. Private tastings start at $75 per person and last approximately 1.5 hours, available by appointment.
