About the Winery

Brendel Wines was launched in April 2020 by Master Sommelier Carlton McCoy Jr. and the Lawrence family. The winery produces approachable wines from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in Napa Valley, including varieties not typically found in Napa such as Grignolino, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Madeira, and Tinta Cao. Brendel is all about bringing approachable modernity to the old-school, upscale region. The downtown Napa tasting room closed permanently in February 2024, but wines continue to be sold online.
