Black Sears

About the Winery

Black Sears Estate Winery is located on Howell Mountain at elevations up to 2,400 feet, the highest vineyard on the mountain. Founded in 1979 by Joyce Black and Jerre Sears, the 420-acre property produces estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown crafts small-lot wines from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards.
