About the Winery
Beschnett Vineyard and Winery, the only vineyard in Waseca County. Established in 2007 when Bill and Phyllis Beschnett planted their first 200 Frontenac grape plants. Licensed as a farm winery in 2018. Grows four University of Minnesota grape varieties: Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, La Crescent, and Marquette, with 1,600 plants total. Bill is a chiropractor and Phyllis is a former teacher. Their son Bil handles the winemaking.
