About the Winery
Opened in 2009 by German winemaker Bernd Maier, whose family has operated vineyards in Germany since the 1400s. Purchased 20 acres in Mesquite for his vineyard. The name comes from the negroamaro grape variety native to southern Italy. Wines have won multiple gold, silver and bronze medals at New Mexico State Fair competitions. Features local artists' work with new exhibits about every six weeks. Food trucks Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
