About the Winery

Thirty acres at the dry base of the foothills with three under vine. Beneath the property runs an aquifer fed by snowmelt from the high country. Planted cold-hardy varieties including Frontenac (rosso, gris, blanc), Marechal Foch, Chelois, and Noiret at 5,430 feet elevation. Italian sensibility translated into a high, arid, American place. Sells grapes to winemakers rather than producing wine.
