About the Winery
1882 Winery & Vineyard is family-owned by Mark and Nancy Lunde, the first winery in Griggs County. Located near the Sheyenne River Valley on property originally owned by Thomas Cooper in 1882. They have been crafting wines since 2010 using only North Dakota-grown fruits and cold-climate grapes including Petite Pearl, Crimson Pearl, La Crescent, Frontenac Gris, Frontenac Blanc, St. Pepin, and Marquette. Fruit wines include Rhubarb, Haskap, Cherry, and Aronia. Members of Pride of Dakota and the ND Grape and Wine Association.
