About the Winery
17 Ranch Winery is located in Lewellen, Nebraska, in the Sandhills region. The winery is named for the '17' cattle brand used on the owners' ranch, being in the family for 3 generations. Ellen started a 4 acre vineyard with 6 varieties in 1999. Started the winery in 2006. Family-run establishment managed by Bruce and Ellen Burdick. Hosts the Annual Bluewater Blues Festival each July.
