Marchetto Vini is a family-operated winery in Gambellara in the Lessini Mountains, with a winemaking tradition passed down through generations since 1948, cultivating Garganega grapes on volcanic basalt soils. The Basaltica project, in collaboration with the Marchetto winery, focuses on revalorizing the Garganega grape through ancient techniques like skin maceration, producing wines that express the full volcanic minerality of the Gambellara terroir.
