About the Winery
Founded in 1988 by Angiolino Maule in Gambellara, La Biancara is a pioneering natural wine estate on 18 hectares of volcanic hills between Vicenza and Verona, where Angiolino also serves as president of VinNatur. The winery applies radical biodynamic practices and a 'remove nothing, add nothing' philosophy, producing approximately 150,000 bottles annually from primarily Garganega grapes along with Durella, Tai Rosso, and Merlot, with wines fermented spontaneously and bottled without filtration or added sulfites.
