De Stefani
About the Winery
De Stefani is a historic family winery with roots in Refrontolo, a UNESCO World Heritage village in Veneto, dating back to 1866 when Valeriano De Stefani first cultivated vines between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. Now in its fourth generation under Alessandro De Stefani, the estate produces around 400,000 bottles annually from 150 acres of vineyard in the Piave Valley, focusing on native varieties like Marzemino, Raboso, Refosco and Glera with a natural philosophy that avoids chemicals in the vineyard and sulfites in the cellar, vinifying exclusively with indigenous yeasts.
