About the Winery

Davide Vignato is a natural winemaker in Gambellara, in the province of Vicenza, who since 1997 has been crafting deeply mineral wines from the volcanic basalt-rich soils of this unique terroir just east of Soave. The tiny family estate, founded by his grandfather Rinaldo and now worked entirely by hand, produces bright and zingy Garganega-based wines using organic and biodynamic farming, spontaneous fermentation and aging on fine lees, expressing the distinct volcanic character that sets Gambellara apart from its more famous neighbor.
