About the Winery

Bigagnoli is a young, dynamic winery in Calmasino di Bardolino, founded in 2012 by Alessio Bigagnoli who started making wine in his garage while working as a car mechanic. After winning the Genova Garage Wine Contest with his Bardolino Chiaretto Metodo Classico, Alessio expanded to three hectares of organically farmed vineyards on morainic hills near Lake Garda, producing around 10,000 bottles annually of Bardolino Classico, Chiaretto, sparkling wines, and Garganega from native varieties including Corvina, Rondinella, Garganega, Molinara, and Oseleta.
