About the Winery

Tenuta Alzatura is the Umbrian estate of the renowned Cecchi family, acquired in 1998 in the Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG territory, spanning 30 hectares across three distinct vineyard sites: Monterone, San Marco, and Alzatura. The estate has been fully organic since 2021 and produces Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Montefalco Rosso (a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Merlot), and white wines from 100% Trebbiano Spoletino.
