About the Winery

Marchesi Ruffo della Scaletta is a historic noble family estate in the Narni-Terni area (Conca Ternana) of southern Umbria, established in the 19th century by Francesco Ruffo della Scaletta and now led by the sixth generation across 650 hectares. The winery produces a range of wines including Ciliegiolo di Narni, Vermentino (Nar), Grechetto (Boccapiega), and Rosso della Scaletta, with vineyards planted on soils of marine origin rich in fossils and shells.
