About the Winery

Tenuta Freddano is an organic winery founded in 1927 by Sante Freddano in Fossatello, 15km from Orvieto, on soils rich in sandy clays and marine fossils from an ancient salt lake. Now led by Chiara Fiorentini, the 27-hectare estate produces Orvieto Classico DOC wines from Grechetto, Malvasia, Procanico, Vermentino, and Chardonnay, alongside Merlot, with all production certified organic and vegan.
