About the Winery
Consorzio Vini Amelia DOC is the consortium responsible for promoting and protecting the Amelia DOC wine denomination in southern Umbria, covering 13 municipalities. The consortium oversees wines including Bianco, Rosso, Grechetto, Ciliegiolo, Malvasia, Merlot, and Sangiovese, with a winemaking heritage dating back to antiquity when Virgil described local viticulture in his Georgics.
