About the Winery
Cantina La Spina is a small family-run winery in Marsciano, near Perugia, with vineyards on clay and limestone soils at 300 meters altitude in the rolling hills of Umbria. Founded by Moreno Peccia, the estate produces wines from predominantly Montepulciano and other local varieties, aged in small French oak barrels for a year before bottling.
