About the Winery

Weingut Nicolussi-Leck, also known as Kreithof, is a family estate near Lake Caldaro that has been cultivated by the Nicolussi-Leck family since 1915, with around five hectares of vineyards on steep slopes with gradients up to 40% between the lake and Leuchtenburg Castle. In 2017, Jakob Nicolussi and his wife Stephanie built a state-of-the-art gravity-fed cellar integrated into a historic 13th-century building, producing acclaimed wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Lagrein, Cabernet Franc, and Gewürztraminer that reflect the unique microclimates of their east, south, and west-facing sites.
