About the Winery

Weingut Eichenstein was established in 2007 in Merano by Josef Waldner of the Waldner family, who bring over 350 years of viticultural heritage to their four hectares of vineyards at 550–600 meters on Montefranco. The estate produces expressive wines from porphyry-quartzite and granite soils in a unique microclimate that blends Mediterranean warmth with Alpine landscape, focusing on handcrafted whites and aged reds.
