About the Winery

Weingut Ebnerhof is a family-run winery in Atzwang on the Ritten Sun Plateau above the southern Eisacktal, where Brigitte and Florian Unterthiner cultivate 4.5 hectares of terraced vineyards on volcanic soils at 500–550 meters elevation, growing varieties including Vernatsch, Weißburgunder, and Sauvignon Blanc from vines—some over 40 years old—using natural farming methods. Their wines are crafted with gentle cellar practices, producing characterful expressions that reflect the mineral-rich terroir of this sun-drenched alpine plateau with views of the Schlern massif.
