About the Winery
Weingut Seppi in Caldaro, run by Werner Seppi for over 20 years, switched to biodynamic agriculture in 2005 and began vinifying grapes in their own cellar in 2016 to create wines reflecting the special characteristics of their individual vineyard sites. The estate practices precise terroir expression by vinifying grapes from different small geographic units called riegel separately, cultivating Gewürztraminer and Pinot Blanc on the Panigl riegel, Sauvignon on the Prey riegel, Schiava on the See riegel, and Cabernet Franc on the Feld riegel.
