About the Winery

Villscheider, located on a hill above Bressanone at 700 meters above sea level, was founded in 1997 by Florian Hilpold and now covers 3.7 hectares of vineyard on steep, southeast-facing stony soils. The estate specializes in white varieties typical of the Eisack Valley including Sylvaner, Kerner, Riesling, and Gewürztraminer, producing fresh, fruity, and elegant wines with excellent balance between sweetness and acidity, with grapes vinified on-site since 2007.
