About the Winery
Untermoserhof, dating back to 1640 and now run by father-son team Georg and Florian Ramoser in the fifth generation, is a historic estate immersed in vineyards above Bolzano in the Santa Magdalena zone. The winery focuses exclusively on two indigenous varieties, Schiava and Lagrein, cultivating 4 hectares of tiny parcels on steep slopes with 40 to 60-year-old vines at 280 to 400 meters, producing dense, spice-tinged Lagrein and vivid St. Magdalener through minimal-input farming and traditional cellar techniques.
