Tenuta Pitzner in Cardano, Cornedo all'Isarco, is a historic 700-year-old estate originally serving as an armoury for nearby Karneid Castle, now managed by brothers Markus and Thomas Puff who cultivate five hectares across five different vineyard sites. The family-run winery produces distinctive South Tyrolean wines including Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Schiava, and Lagrein from porphyry-rich soils with well-ventilated slopes, combining centuries of history with a modern, quality-focused approach.
