About the Winery
Taschlerhof in Bressanone (Brixen), founded in 2000 by Peter Wachtler, is a 5.5-hectare estate in the Eisack Valley producing approximately 45,000 bottles annually from four white varieties: Sylvaner, Riesling, Kerner, and Gewürztraminer. The vineyards at over 500 meters on lean slate soils with southeastern exposure yield mineral-driven wines, with 60% matured in large acacia barrels and 40% in stainless steel, earning the winery 3 glasses from Gambero Rosso and praise from renowned wine guides.
