About the Winery
Strasserhof in Varna (Neustift), first mentioned in writing in 1100, is one of the oldest wine estates in the Valle Isarco, managed by Hannes Baumgartner since 2003 on approximately 5 hectares of vineyard. The estate, also serving as the president's seat of the Independent Winegrowers association, produces a broad range of white wines including Müller Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner, Sylvaner, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Kerner, characterized by strong minerality, great juiciness, and youthful freshness.
