About the Winery
The Rielingerhof in Collalbo on the Renon plateau, first mentioned in documents from the 13th century, has been owned by the Messner family since 1956 and is now managed by Matthias Messner, who vinifies the entire harvest on the estate since 2011. The two-hectare vineyard on a southern slope with up to 75% gradient, cultivated organically at 750 meters altitude, produces white wines including Blatterle, Müller Thurgau, Kerner, and Riesling alongside reds Schiava and Zweigelt, with a wine pressing stone from the 13th century still preserved in the farmhouse cellar.
