About the Winery

The Peter Sölva winery is one of the oldest winegrowing businesses in Kaltern (Caldaro), with a family tradition dating back to 1731 and ten generations of viticulture. The estate produces 60% red wines from valley locations around Lake Kaltern at 224-400 meters and 40% white wines from hillside locations at 400-600 meters, cultivating varieties from Pinot Gris and Chardonnay to Cabernet Franc and Lagrein.
