Nusserhof

About the Winery

Nusserhof is a 2.5-hectare organic urban vineyard in Bolzano, certified organic since 1994 and run by Heinrich Mayr and his daughter Gloria, cultivating exclusively indigenous varieties including Lagrein, Teroldego, and the nearly extinct Blatterle on warm, airy alluvial soils near the Isarco River. The estate, traceable as a family property since 1788, is also the home farm of Blessed Josef Mayr-Nusser, a South Tyrolean resistance martyr beatified by Pope Francis in 2017.
