Mauslocherhof, a small family winery in Cermes near Merano run by Gerda Kiem since 2006, cultivates two hectares of vineyards on south-eastern slopes at 310 to 500 meters above sea level on mineral-rich moraine soils. First mentioned in records in 1469, the estate follows environmentally friendly, sustainable, and natural cultivation methods, with new farm buildings constructed in 2017 emphasizing harmony with nature.
