Cantina Spumanti Lorenz Martini, founded in 1985 in Cornaiano, Alto Adige, specializes in Metodo Classico sparkling wines under the Comitissa label, made from Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Noir from vineyards at 500-800 meters. Their wines are aged on the lees for 3-8 years, with the Comitissa Gold Riserva produced only in outstanding years from select grapes, earning praise for elegance and finesse comparable to prestigious Champagne houses.
