About the Winery
Loacker Wine Estates, based in Bolzano, Alto Adige, is a pioneering biodynamic winery founded in 1979 by Rainer Loacker, who was among the first in Italy to embrace organic and biodynamic viticulture in the 1980s. Today the Loacker family manages estates in Alto Adige, Montalcino, and Maremma, producing bold, unique wines fermented only with natural yeasts, including acclaimed labels like Tasnim Sauvignon Blanc and Gran Lareyn Lagrein, with the belief that their wines have their own character and soul.
