About the Winery

Köfelgut is a historic family estate in Castelbello (Kastelbell), Val Venosta, South Tyrol, owned by the Pohl family since 1786, with viticulture practiced since 1970 on the steep, sun-drenched slopes of the Sonnenberg at 600 meters elevation. The estate produces wines from Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, and Riesling, while also operating a distillery since 1992 that crafts acclaimed fruit brandies including the famous Vinschger Marillenbrand from Val Venosta apricots.
