About the Winery
Erbhof Pitsch am Bach is a historic hereditary farm near Bolzano, Alto Adige, first documented in 1350, that has been owned by the Schweigkofler family since 1769, now managed by Paul Schweigkofler and his daughter Lena. The estate cultivates approximately 3.4 hectares of steep, southwest-facing vineyards between Santa Giustina and Santa Maddalena at around 300 meters elevation, producing limited quantities of approximately 3,500 bottles annually from indigenous varieties including Schiava, Lagrein, Gewürztraminer, and the rare Blaterle, following natural farming methods and traditional vinification.
