Cantina Merano
About the Winery
Cantina Merano is a cooperative winery founded in 2010 from the merger of the historic Burggräfler Winery (1901) and the Meran Winery (1952), now uniting 360 members cultivating 250 hectares across two distinct zones: the mild Mediterranean Merano basin and the climatically extreme Val Venosta. With over 20 grape varieties, the winery produces approximately 35 different wines with winemaker Stefan Kapfinger acting as a 'midwife' to let each wine express its origin clearly in the aroma. Their Panoramic Enoteca in Marlengo and City.Vinothek in Merano offer visitors opportunities to explore the exciting diversity of their wine collection.
