About the Winery

Abbazia di Novacella is one of the world's oldest active wineries, founded in 1142 by Augustinian canons in the Isarco Valley of Alto Adige, where wine has been produced for nearly 900 years. The estate focuses on white wines including Sylvaner, Kerner, and Müller-Thurgau from vineyards rising above 900 meters, alongside reds from Pinot Noir, Schiava, and Lagrein grown in selected southern sites.
