Ansitz Mairhof is a historic farm and winery in Parcines near Merano, with roots stretching back over 800 years and owned by the Bernhart family for 90 years, now run by Matthias Bernhart. The estate cultivates approximately 1 hectare of vineyards on steep, sun-kissed south-facing slopes at 600-650 meters elevation, producing fruity wines with crisp acidity from varieties including Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Vernatsch, Pinot Noir, and Lagrein rosé. Their small-scale winery produces wines that mature primarily in stainless steel, with some aged in wooden barrels, and offers tastings in a magnificent 800-year-old historic tasting room.
