Villa Travignoli
About the Winery
Villa Travignoli is a historic wine estate in the Chianti Rufina region, 25 kilometers east of Florence at the confluence of the Arno and Sieve rivers, with a viticultural heritage dating back to 1080. The 90-hectare estate includes 60-70 hectares of vineyards cultivated primarily with Sangiovese, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay, producing approximately 400,000 bottles annually of Chianti Rufina DOCG, Riserva, and a Super Tuscan, aged in a historic 16th-century cellar with vaulted ceilings.
