About the Winery

Cantina Cooperativa Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano is a cooperative winery founded in 1972 in the village of Scansano in the Maremma region of southern Tuscany, uniting approximately 170 members who cultivate around 700 hectares of vineyards. The cooperative produces the flagship Morellino di Scansano DOCG (the local name for Sangiovese), along with Maremma Toscana DOC wines from indigenous varieties such as Vermentino, Ciliegiolo, and Alicante, combining sustainable viticulture with modern technology to craft wines that express the sun-drenched coastal hills of Maremma.
