About the Winery

Tiezzi is a historic Brunello di Montalcino estate founded in the 1980s by renowned agronomist and oenologist Enzo Tiezzi, who purchased the storied Podere Soccorso where the first Brunello was bottled in 1870. The small artisan winery produces certified organic Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and Sant'Antimo wines from historic Sangiovese vineyards near the walls of Montalcino, vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels.
